It's great that you're watching the KH Union Cross Fandub Pt. 1. I remembered reading previous comments suggesting you to either play Re:Mind "Limit Cut" DLC, or watch the cutscenes, which I agree. And I suggest to do that before watching Pt. 2 of the Union Cross Fandub, and then Dark Road (though they still haven't dubbed it yet). But I know "Limit Cut" is pretty much a long boss rush until you able to see all the cutscenes, and it's not easy to complete. So if that does take too long to get to those, then it's okay to just watch the cutscenes. Hopefully this is okay for you.

Fyrus is the Fused Shadow corruption of Darbus, chief of the Gorons in Twilight Princess. It's kinda sad, really, that it happened.

When the player lifts up Chirithy for a hug, and Chirithy's cape drifts up and you can see the symbol on its back, that was the first time fans learned that Chirithies are dream eaters, as this cutscene was released before Back Cover.

Congrats on making it this far into your Kingdom Hearts journey, Jade :D One really interesting thing about one of the new scenes for Melody of Memory is that it was actually referenced all the way back in KH1! When apprentice Xehanort is talking to young Kairi about sending her off to another world in the hopes that she would make her way to a Keyblade wielder, that's directly mentioned in one of the Ansem's Reports in KH1 Final Mix. Most people, including myself, had forgotten about that entirely so it was a really cool throwback to something seemingly so small

Also Kairi have been sleeping for a 2 years to find Sora , also Riku and Terra have a nice scene together about remember that promise to each other, than reunite with the Final Fantasy gang and that secret ending about Sora and Riku in the city yeah is part of the story as Riku's dreams
